All levels of Yoga, ages 13+.
We will begin with a yoga practice including asana (the postures), pranayama (the breathing exercises), meditation, and relaxation. The practice will be followed by a lecture and discussion of scientific research examining how yoga affects the nervous system. There will even be an experiment conducted during class, giving you real time feedback on the function of your brain! Please arrive early (2:30 PM) to participate in the experiment.
