This panel will discuss mental health effects of homelessness, substance abuse disorders, and traumatic events in combat. The panel brings together a set of professionals, all of whom work in the field of mental health in vulnerable populations. Since there are many overlapping issues that these individuals face, the panel aims to give the audience a broad overview into these issues, and how scientists can contribute.  The event is open to all.
